Black Sea Tour

Day 1: Transfer to the Istanbul or Dalaman airport. Flight to Trabzon, transfer to hotel. Welcome coctail and briefing, depart for Ayasofya, a 13th century Byzantine Church and study superb Byzantine frescoes. Drive to Akcaabat for lunch then depart for Gulbahar Hatun Mosque, castle and Ataturk's Mansion your hotel to visit Perge. An important city of ancient Pamphylian, Perge was originally settled by the Hittites around 1500 BC. Day 2: Depart for Sumela Monastery, arrive at Altindere Valley National Park. Reach the monastry after a 35 min. climb from the Valley, visit the 4th century Sumela Monastery and descend to the valley, depart Altindere for lunch at Cosandere Restaurant. After lunch depart for Karaca Cave, travelling along the old Silk Road through the Karaca Cave, considered the most beautiful in Turkey for its colors and formations. Arrive in Trabzon, dinner O/N. Day 3: Depart for Uzungol, one of the most photogenic locations in the region, lunch at a fish restaurant, sightseeing and dinner O/N. Day 4: A full day excursion to Sekersu on the foothills of Soganli Mountain, barbecue party beside a glacier lake, enjoy the beatiful panoramic landscapes, return to Uzungol and overnight at Uzungol. Day 5: Depart for Ayder, visit the botanic gardens and enjoy panoramic views of Rize, drive to Camlihemsin through the beauitiful Firtina Valley, enjoy the panoramic views with many water falls, stone bridges over the Firtina stream and lush green forests on the foothills of the magnificent Kackar Mountains, lunch in Kalegon Forest, sightseeing in Ayder, return to Rize, dinner O/N. Day 6 : Drive to Artvin, visit Borcka Karagol and the ancient Georgain Churches Dolishane. Yeni Rabat (Shetberdi) Church in Ardanuc, dinner O/N in Artvin. Day 7: A drive through the Coruh Valley will take us to other Georgian Churches; Dolishane, Ishan, Osk-Vank and Haho, visit Tortum Waterfalls on the way, dinner and O/N in Erzurum. Day 8: Morning tour to Cifte Minareli Medrese, Theree Tombs, Yakutiye Medrese, Ulu Mosque and Erzurum Castle, transfer to Erzurum Airport for flight to Istanbul. Check Availability & Reservation
